Lady of Angels Maternity Shelter
Opened in 1999, Our Lady of Angels Maternity Shelter in Temple is our response to the need for emergency shelter and housing for pregnant women.
The facility is licensed to provide a temporary shelter to women (14 years to adult) in crisis pregnancy by offering a loving and stable family environment to support the mother and child in their efforts to create a hopeful future for themselves. We have been in operation since 1999. There are no charges or fees. For information, call (254) 742-2340.

NCPD has a Council on Mental Illness which works to provide resources for persons with mental illness and their families. They recently published a resource entitled A Pastoral Response to Mental Illness in collaboration with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
